Boys and Girls High School

Kenthedo Robinson, the drama teacher at Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn - "The Pride and Joy of Bed Stuy" recently directed a production of Othello. This is only the 2nd production that the school has mounted in the last 14 years. The students bravely agreed to take on this Shakespearian thriller with energy and passion.  Kenthedo obtained all of the materials for the elegant costumes and set from Materials for the Arts adding tremendously to the quality of the production.   

Keshorn Archibald who ably plays Othello and Angelica Mack who shines as Desdemona are first place winners in the Shakespeare Monologue Contest presented by the National Endowment of the Arts in Washington, D.C.
