Rational Animal, a member of Materials for the Arts since 2006, was recently profiled in Time Out NY for their media strategy to promote the welfare of New York’s at-risk animals. Whether they are out educating people on how to adopt homeless animals or raising greater awareness of delicate animal nesting areas, Rational Animal’s team of professionals shows people how they can take part in improving animal welfare in their communities. Using supplies they collected from our warehouse for their recent initiative dubbed “The Mother Comfort Project", Rational Animal volunteers were able to create 50 beds and 40 cat toys for AC&C shelters in Brooklyn.
